Break out your dirndls and lederhosen, The Chocorua Community Association's Oktoberfest returns on Sunday Oct 1, from 4pm - 7:30pm in the tent at The Preserve. Proceeds benefit the Chocorua River Dam Park and the Tamworth Christmas Project, who provide new winter coats and boots for kids in need in Tamworth.
We'll have Opa's Oompah Band performing live, with traditional German cuisine, and beer from Hobbs and Tuckerman's available for purchase. General Admission tickets are only 10.00 (children under 12 free) and all proceeds benefit the Chocorua Community Association’s River Dam Park fund, and the Tamworth Christmas Project.
Due to the overwhelming response last year, to streamline food service, We are adding the option to purchase a full plate dinner in advance. The sauerbraten, wurst plate or veggie cabbage roll plates can be purchased on the ticket site. After you check in, you can find a seat and we’ll delivers your meal to you. No waiting in line and no chance of the food being sold out before you can order. ! General Admission tickets will still be able to get in line and purchase plates and individual items. We also are looking for sponsors for the return of Opa’s Oompah Band and we have 10 VIP tickets thatwill admit two people, including dinner, and German wine at a reserved table with the other sponsors. Those tickets are also available on the webste.
The menu will include homemade Sauerbraten, brats from Karl’s Sausage Kitchen including knockwurst, bratwurst, and weisswurstv, egetarian stuffed cabbage, German potato salad, potato pancakes, pretzels and more, as well as Octoberfest beer from Hobbs and Tuckerman's.
